Since 2019, in the emergency situation in Rakhine, hundreds of thousands of families were often fleeing from their origin villages with little more than the clothes they were wearing and consequently found themselves in IDP camps without personal belongings. And also, the villages left under the crisis zones have faced access to food production and income generation which was essential for their family consumption and daily expenses.
Green Journey
For the past few years, Green Journey has tried to fill gaps with the distribution of food and non- food items in the both IDP camps and host villages, especially in the most vulnerable areas in Kyauktaw and Rathedaung townships where other humanitarian organizations were not present.
