Agriculture production and market system strengthening is being the priority of Green Journey since the beginning. With the collaboration with different donors, Green Journey has launched commercial gardening and value chain approach in the potential villages in Rakhine state. In 2020, Green Journey has implemented some project of Ground-Nut production in the villages of southern Rathedaung, Rakhine state, and helped farmers to link with the main market in Sittwe.
Green Journey’s long-term goal it to improve the rural productivity through agriculture and other productive sector; and increase the women’s involvement in development process. Therefore, Green Journey is continuously working with its doners and partners to reach to the most vulnerable areas in Rakhine.
